About Hiyalita

The Problem with Real Estate Today

Let’s start with the hard truth that every homeowner considering selling their property needs to know: unless you are a licensed real estate agent listing your own property, the system is designed against you.

The unfortunate reality is that the established structure in place to support the listing and selling of properties is designed to extract value from the equity you have built up through your most valuable asset.  Yes, your property will be sold, but the process to do so requires significant sacrifice from homeowners; you can have services & support or you can have savings, but you can’t have both.

Just consider the three options available to homeowners today: For-Sale-By-Owner, Flat-Fee Listings, or the traditional Listing Brokerage.

Each comes with its own unique solution, trade-offs and success rates, but none provide a solution that allows the homeowner to receive the maximum value of their property at the time of closing – and, in some cases, limit the likelihood of reaching the close date all together.  (For what it’s worth, this isn’t an indictment on the people who work for these companies or the work they do on behalf of customers; there are thousands of individuals who work hard within these systems to provide real estate solutions to homeowners.)

The people aren’t broken, it’s the system in which they work that fails homeowners.

What is Hiyalita?

We’re an unique real estate brokerage that is built on the singular premise that the real estate industry hasn’t done homeowners across the U.S. any favors over the past 100 years, and that we can create massive value for our customers through fairness and transparency

We do this by ensuring that regardless of the path you take – Self-Guided Listing, Agent-Assisted Listing, or Full-Support Listing – you are set up for success.

We’re tired of seeing FSBO listings that are destined to fail because no one told you what really mattered to get people through the door, we have had our fill of Flat-Fee brokerages doing the bare minimum when putting a listing on MLS, and we hate seeing Listing Agents from large brokerages drive around in fancy cars paid for by the windfalls from someone else’s hard-earned equity.

Don’t get us wrong: we looove fancy cars, but we’d rather earn the keys through hard work and delivering a rock-solid offering that drives results for our customers over and over again.

If the only thing going in our favor to land your listing is that we’re your cousin’s co-worker’s sorority sister (or frat brother or past member of glee club or… well, you get the point), we’ve failed as a business.

We’re not working to trade on our personal relationships to get your business; we’re working to earn your trust by delivering the maximum value on the sale of your home and providing you a clear path to avoid paying tens of thousands of dollars in commissions.

Are we giving up a lot of money compared to our competitors? Yes.

Is that a good business? If we do it right, absolutely.
